Tennis NZ is the national body for tennis in New Zealand. We were one of the founding members of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), and are responsible for the administration and management of tennis in New Zealand. This includes the selection and management of Davis and Fed Cup teams to represent New Zealand in these annual international competitions. Tennis NZ also holds the rights to the ASB Classic women's professional tournament, held in Auckland each January.

A significant part of Tennis NZ's activities is given to organizing national tournaments, arranging overseas tours for junior players, and support for our emerging players on the world tours. Tennis NZ has also recently launched Grasshoppers, an innovative programme introducing primary school kids to tennis though a games-based approach.
