Sport Canterbury A trust that works with clubs and sports organisations to help develop them to become more capable and effective, and also runs school sports programmes and delivers special sporting events.
On behalf of Sport Canterbury, Sport Mid Canterbury, Sport South Canterbury and Sport West Coast, I am delighted to have this opportunity to outline our programmes and related activities.
We operate under the banner of a “Sports Trust” and are one of New Zealand’s 17 such regional Sports Trusts committed to promoting physical activity and sport throughout our community. This takes place through initiatives in the likes of sports clubs, schools, regional organisations and workplaces.
