Devonport Community House (DCH) was formed in the mid 1970's when a group of local residents realised their dream of providing Devonport with a facility for community activities. Now in our 30th year, we run The Community House, The Devonport Community Crèche, After School Club and Holiday Club. Our aim is to offer a welcoming and supportive environment to the people of the Devonport peninsula.
Devonport Community House Mission Statement
"To provide a framework for the organization of activities and facilities designed to promote the overall wellbeing and enjoyment of the Community of Devonport."
Holiday Programme:
We run School Holiday Programmes in every term break and for three weeks in January.
Our programme runs from 9am till 4.30 pm.
Each day is themed with activities organised to be fun and educational. There is also plenty of free-time each day for relaxing, reading, playing and chilling out. We may visit parks and places of interest around Devonport, and one day a week we have a trip day.
Cost is $44.00 per day. Family rates are available. There is an extra charge on trip days.
We are a registered OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) Programme and a CYF's approved provider.
