Rosebank School is a contributing primary (Year 1 to 6), decile 2, multicultural school that has 500+ children from over 20 different nationalities
Our school is organised in the following way.
Our Year 1 children work in a separate team (Whau) that enables them to be introduced successfully into school life in an especially nurturing environment – with low class sizes and a specific part of the school.
The Year 2 – 6 children work in cross age, whanau based teams.
We have two Maori bilingual classes (Te Whanau) for year 1-3 and year 4-6 children.
There are three Samoan bilingual classes (Tupulaga) for year 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6 children.
The three mainstream teams are Manawa, Kotahitanga and Te Rau Aroha.
Our Values:
Our values Whanaungatanga pono (positive relationships), Respect, Trust and Personal excellence affect everything we do. Our children know what it means to be a "Rosebank learner" – and know that they come to school to learn.
