The Wesley Community Centre offers a School Holiday Programme each school holiday period. The programme is for children aged 5 to 12 years and runs from Monday to Friday. The programme consists of centre based activities including art, crafts and sports combined with at least two day trips per week to destinations like Auckland Zoo, movies, beach or pool, ice skating, and Sheepworld.

The Centre is located within the beautiful surroundings of the Mt Roskill War Memorial Park, there are seven rooms available for hire and there is also a large paved outdoor area at the rear of the facility. It is situated on a bus route; with a bus stop right outside the main entrance and its central locality make it a very desirable venue. There are two large car park areas with approximately 100 spaces and plenty of street frontage for extra parking, if necessary. The facility is well heated and most rooms have air-conditioning and is suitable for a wide range of activities.

The Centre has two levels with stairs and a lift to level 1. All areas of the Centre have disability access.

The Centre is available for hire daily from 8am to 10pm. Sunday to Thursday and 8am to 12pm Friday and Saturday. Booking time includes setting up and cleaning afterwards.

The costs shown are standard hire rates. To apply for the community rate, hirers must belong to a Not For Profit community group and complete a discount application form. Policy regarding a community discount is strict and at the discretion of the Community Centre.

All our rooms are named after local birds which are found in the area of Wesley and the local reserve and both common and native birds are represented. See our photo gallery for further information regarding the birds and room name pronunciation.
