Epworth operates as an affordable Christian accommodation facility. It is owned by the Methodist Church of New Zealand and is managed under direction from the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Synod.

Groups who have access to boats can bring them and launch from our waterfront then spend time water skiing in a nearby bay or see glowworms at night up the nearby Pokaiwhenua stream.
Pool:
Our pool is a great place to relax and have fun.
Kayaking: Kayaking trips on the river are not only fun, they are a great work out. A trip up the nearby gorge is gorgeous during the day. Night time kayaking trips to see the glowworms hanging among the under growth are simply stunning.
