The Ruakaka Motorcamp at Ruakaka is situated 134 km north of Auckland & 30 km southeast of Whangarei on State Highway 1. It is halfway between Auckland & the Bay of Islands and is the perfect stopover on your way North and only seconds from State Highway 1.
Our camp is very clean, friendly & family orientated in park like grounds, situated on 32 acres of peninsula. It's one of the largest camp sites in New Zealand with 180 caravan & campervan sites, 111 tent sites & 8 cabins.
Facilities at the camp include a tennis court, adventure playground (planned for Xmas 2009), kitchens, laundries toilets, baby baths and showers. Showers, kitchens and laundry are metered. Dump stations are available, as well as a disabled toilet. Boat wash and fish cleaning area.
