Linton Camp School provides education for children whose parents are members of the Armed Forces. Classes cater for students from Year 0 through to Year 8. Linton Camp School has been reflecting a lot over the past 18 months on how to create a curriculum that meets the unique needs of our students.
As most of our students come from families of military personnel, we are unique as at times our parents travel overseas on many peace keeping roles around the world.

- caters for New Entrants (5 yr olds) to Yr 8 (Form 2) – roll range 160-190
- is within the Camp housing area
- is 10 kilometres south-east of Palmerston North city
- is staffed ~ Principal, Deputy Principal, 7 Scale A teachers and support staff
- has 10 classrooms, 7 of which are presently used for classes with the others being the Computer Suite, Resource Room and Staffroom
- has a school Dental Clinic
- has an ‘xtreme’ obstacle course and adventure playgrounds
