Wairarapa REAP Provides educational services to the Wairarapa Community in early childhood, primary and secondary schools, and to adults through our community programmes.
Our activities are diverse and tailored to meet the different identified needs of our communities. Much of our work is about developing people, providing practical support and helping local groups and communities progress in the direction they want to go. Wairarapa REAP has a strong reputation as a specialist in facilitating and nurturing community change.
Schools:
Working with and in schools is a significant part of our work. Over the years, our support for schools has adapted to match changing needs and circumstances, especially for our small rural schools.
We provide a service, especially during term one and two, where a range of activities brings students together to do interesting and challenging things.
Our work in schools includes...
- providing support to all schools
- supporting individual school programmes (yearly applications)
- increasing the diversity of opportunity for students especially in small schools
- supporting extension programmes such as theatresports, music, arts and science
- Providing quality professional development programmes as appropriate,
