The Kids Club consists of two kindergartens. The Kids Club and The Kids Club 2. Each is a privately owned sessional kindergarten licensed by the Ministry of Education. The Kids Club aims to provide a fun, stimulating environment in which two to five year old children can grow as competent and confident learners.
Our programme is based on Te Whaariki, the National Early Childhood Curriculum. It incorporates exploration through play, guided activities and routines, with an emphasis on language, literacy and early mathematical concepts.
During each session the children are encouraged to be involved in learning experiences related to the focus that they are working on. This will include opportunities to join in with singing, music, reading, writing, discussion at group times and to choose inside and outside activities which are planned to extend knowledge, skills and dispositions for learning.
