Pipitea Childcare Centre is a non profit parent / staff co-operative, providing childcare services in Wellington. Since 1988 Pipitea has provided quality childcare for the primary use of public servants as well as children from the wider community.
We provide a warm, caring environment in which children have the opportunity to develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually. Our overall objective is to aid children to reach their full potential by fostering self-esteem and independence through a non-violent free play programme, which reflects the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and multi-culturalism as incorporated in Te Whariki Early Childhood Curriculum.
