Founders Heritage Park is a replica historic village containing many of the old historic buildings and artefacts of Nelson, giving visitors the chance to walk down a nineteenth century street.

During the summer months take a ride on the train, meet resident artists working in ceramics, wrought iron, stone jewellery and the ancient art of cooperage.

Treat yourself to the delights of the L’Artisan Bakery, relax and dine alfresco at the Founders Café and Organic Brewery – beer tastings are available.

Founders Heritage Park hosts: weekly Founders Friday Night Market 3-6pm every Friday evening. We also stage large public events including quarterly Craft Beer Festivals, March Fest, Festival of Opportunities, Antique to Retro Extravaganza, and Queen's Birthday Book Fair.
