Summertimes a festival of free outdoor entertainment running from December to March every summer. It is with great pleasure that I introduce this year's Garden City SummerTimes events programme – a welcome citywide festival following a tough few months in Christchurch.
We start with the New Year's Eve Party at the Cathedral Square and build up the enjoyment for summer with dozens of events, fetes and fairs held through out the city.
The Council is committed to attracting top events to Christchurch and encouraging local community festivals. So whether your tastes run to art, culture, music, picnics in the park or fun at the beach, make the most of your City this summer.
