There are six Westfield Shopping Centres in Auckland, all are exceptionally child friendly with parent rooms and buggys and cars for hire. Some even have drop-in creches. For more information, and location maps, simply click on their website below.
The Glenfield Mall first opened in 1971. After taking over the centre in 1999, Westfield embarked on a 14-month, NZ$100 million redevelopment. Westfield Glenfield opened in 2000, giving Auckland's North Shore a world-class shopping centre.
The Centre has over 130 specialty stores, including major retailers Countdown, Farmers, Foodtown and The Warehouse, and a 600-seat food court.
Westfield Glenfield is conveniently situated in the heart of Glenfield with access from Glenfield Road, Downing Street and Bentley Avenue. It is surrounded by a dense residential area and located near associated community services such as a library and leisure centre.

Travelling by Car:
We have over 1520 car parking spaces at Westfield Glenfield. You can park on Levels 1, 2, 4 and 5. Levels 1 and 2 are most suitable to use if you are shopping at Foodtown and Countdown and levels 4 and 5 are more suitable if you are shopping at Farmers, The Warehouse and our many speciality stores.
Join Our School Holiday Fun! This April school holidays come down to Westfield Glenfield to join in our holiday fun.
During week one of the holidays from Easter Monday the 13th of April to Friday the 17th April, we will have two shows daily in the centre court. Show times are 11am and 1pm.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday meet the circus ring master and join in with the circus adventure. There will be a gymnast, clowns, and Charlie Chaplin will make an appearance.
On Thursday and Friday join us for a tribute to High School Musical. Come along to join in the singing and dancing to the popular High School Musical tracks.
Gift Vouchers: Want to give the gift of choice? A Westfield gift voucher is the perfect gift. Vouchers are available from the Customer Service Centre and come in denominations of $10, $20 and $50. They are accepted at most retailers at all Westfield centres throughout New Zealand.
Then pop your gift vouchers in our specially created greeting card complete with envelope. There is a design to suit all occasions and these are available at customer services for just $3.00.
Great Facilities for Parents: Shopping with children is easy at Westfield.
Parents with Prams Parking: At Westfield we want to make shopping easier for shoppers with young children. Just pull into one of our specially marked Parents with Prams parking spaces located close to the entrances of our centre.
Kiddie Cruisers: Looking for the ultimate in kid transportation? Kiddie Cruisers are available for hire from the Customer Service Desk. Available in single and double seating a Kiddie Cruiser is the coolest way to get around. An hourly charge applies and photo ID is required.
