SKIDS have franchised childcare programmes at 20 Auckland primary schools in Auckland. They offer activities such as art and craft, music, drama and sport.
They give children afternoon tea and provide homework supervision. Their well-structured and balanced programme is available for all school aged children.
There is a small strong team at head office including the directors of the company who have a regular hands-on approach to the business.
All directors have been involved in developing the business systems by working within the first programmes set up and subsequently through all the levels of the business as it has grown.
This enables the directors to market and advise on all levels with the authority and knowledge that experience brings. Their objective is to share this knowledge to empower the new members of the organisation.
Team members focus on specific areas of the business so as to provide in-depth knowledge to the group as well as an overall vision of the company and its performance.
Our head office liaison representative is able to assist in connecting the right people with the right assignment to achieve maximum results, and quickly.
Holiday Camps:
Tui Glen is a specialist Horse Riding Camp that's been established since 1985 where our passion is teaching kids of all abilities to ride on our great team of 50 horses and ponies.
We teach riders from beginner to more advanced in a safe and fun environment on our 400 hectares of teaching arena's, show jumping, cross country courses and games facilities plus adventurous rides over farmland, through crystal clear streams and bush clad hills.
The program places riders in small groups, depending on ability, so as to improve their skills, encourage self-esteem, initiative and confidence. More advanced riders may team up with our camp leaders in a game of polocrosse or challenge them to a round of jumping.
Off the horses, riders enjoy their time spent in and around our friendly atmosphere of the Kids cottage.

SKIDS has been successfully operating for over 10 years at a number of schools and currently provides programmes in 35 schools.
SKIDS provides safe and fun structured care for your children on-site in your school. We belong to OSCN (Out of School Care Network). Each individual programme undergoes the Child Youth and Family Services approval process which enables the parents to access the WINZ OSCAR subsidy & the Programme Owner to access funding from the Ministry of Social Development. The purpose of this funding is to keep programmes affordable whilst remaining viable!
