The Mt Albert Community Centre offers an after school care programme from 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms. Children are collected from the Marist school in a taxi bus.
Most of our centres have a child minding facility which is well equipped to care for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers with a great selection of toys and activities. Supervised by experienced, caring staff, your child is sure to enjoy their visit.
For Under five year olds YMCA provide a child minding service to all centre users for a small additional charge. Parents or guardians can therefore enjoy the programmes and services offered by YMCA and be comforted in the knowledge their children are being well looked after too. Alternatively you may need someone to care for one of your children while you assist the other in a Y-Gymnastics class.
We also have a "Out of Centre user's fee" for parents and caregivers who might want to do a spot of shopping, or just have a well-earned break. The centre must have a contact phone number for the parents or an emergency contact at all times while the parent/caregiver, is off the centre grounds.
The childminding facility is supervised by experienced, caring staff and is well equipped to care for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
