Bear Park childcare facilities are located in various central city suburbs. They are committed to providing an environment which enhances children’s development. Children must be enrolled to attend Bear Park.

The group believes that the children’s developmental and educational needs are a priority and the success and growth of the group is testiment to this philosophy.

The group’s founder has always believed in providing quality education and care for children and this is evident throughout the Centres which are greatly inspired by the Reggio Philosophy, from Reggio Emilia, in Italy.

Ages catered for:

Infant Toddlers - 3 months to 2 ½ years
Preschool - 2 ½ years to 5 years

Licence:

Infant Toddlers - Licensed for 25 under twos and 5 over twos.
Preschool - Licensed for 45 over twos.

Facilities and Services:
Originally a Church and church hall joined by a central foyer Mt Eden has been open since mid 2000. The Church was opened up with the addition of a double ranch slider and a covered deck, while the Infant Toddler centre was developed by adding a ramp to the existing stage.

Both centres are open plan and filled with light.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our staff selected not just for their qualifications but for also for their experience, professionalism and genuine love for children.

Fringed by giant Puriri trees our outside areas provide a welcome retreat from the urban surroundings and are real assets to the centre. The areas are a source of many adventures and allow children to run and play freely.

The Preschool playground is linked to the centre by stairs from the deck, it has a huge race track and sandpit, and the children also enjoy the glimpse and sound of the trains as they pass in the distance.

Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 6pm.
