Bear Park childcare facilities are located in various central city suburbs. They are committed to providing an environment which enhances children’s development. Children must be enrolled to attend Bear Park.

Facilities and Services:

Bear Park Infant Toddler Centre is housed in an old vicarage that was originally located in Onehunga. It has been successfully relocated into Parnell and sits at the front of an industrial property, nestled amongst trees.

It is a small, intimate centre catering for 29 children in total, therefore allowing for a very personal touch for parents, who are experiencing their first encounter with Early Childhood Education.

Communication is the key to a successful partnership between parents and the Centre and the staff in Parnell take pride in ensuring that this is so. Evidence of the children’s explorations and experiences line the walls, clearly depicting the learning process that has taken place.

The smaller children have their own play space, but can easily view their friends through the specially designed low windows – just the right height for saying hello! Parents can also quietly observe their little ones involved in activities, unnoticed by their children, through the one way viewing window.

Throughout the day there is time for all the children to get together, share their ideas, play together and have time to be with peers.
