There are almost 20 Kindercare Learning Centres in Auckland, so there's bound to be one close to your home. These centres cater for babies, toddlers and preschoolers on a full-time, part-time or drop in basis. They have a good reputation. Kindercare staff have had input into developing New Zealand’s early childhood curriculum which is internationally acclaimed. Our carefully researched teaching program – The Excel Education Program, is instrumental in facilitating the planning process which our teachers use to observe and document your child’s individual progress, interests and strengths. Providing a dynamic framework to incorporate New Zealand’s national early childhood curriculum, Te Whaariki, the Excel Education Program ensures that Kindercare’s teachers are accountable in planning for the individual needs of each child. The planning structure and focus also affords parents the opportunity to contribute to their child’s learning.
