Glen Eden Athletic and Harriers Inc (GEAH) was formed in 1945. We are a traditional athletics, where members range from 5-year-old children to 90-year-old seniors. Glen Eden Athletics and Harriers has a strong harrier section and masters membership in track and field. We cater for families and encourage children to try all events and enjoy their competition to the fullest extent.

Children from 6yrs can participate in learning track and field events at this club. The club operates year round - with harriers in the winter and summer, and track and field in the summer.

Our club rooms and athletics facilities are situated at Ceramco Park, Glendale Road, Glen Eden with the first night on the track and field being in late October 2010. (Dates and times of registrations and season start dates will be published in local news, sent out to schools and put on the website). Junior evenings are held on Tuesdays through to late March - breaking for the Christmas and School holidays.

We currently run a fun children's athletics evening on Tuesday evenings from 5.30 to 7pm at Ceramco Park, Glen Eden.

Our junior evenings cater for children from 5 to 13 years. We offer your children the opportunity to learn new skills, such as track events, shot put, discus, long jump and high jump. Catering for the smaller athletes, our run, jump, throws programme improves co-ordination and balance in preparation for the main field events, whilst having lots of fun learning.

The children are given the opportunity to compete against both themselves and others throughout the season.

The programme runs for approximately 1 hour for the littlies and weather dependant may carry on until 7pm for the older children.

The fees are very reasonable and range from $15 to $45 a season.
