To provide professional gymsport and recreation programmes in the Counties Manukau Region.

Counties Manukau Gymnastics was founded in 1973 and was formerly the Manurewa Gymnastics Club Inc and the Counties Gymnastic Club Inc. The club operated from several different venues before coming together at the Gymsport & Recreation Centre in 2000.

The Gymsport & Recreation Centre was purpose built for gymnastics, trampoline and related activities. Whilst primarily a training venue, gymnastics competitions are regularly held at the Centre including the 2000, 2004, 2005 and 2007 National Gymnastics Championships.

What sort of costs are involved?

There are two main costs: Training fees and Club membership/affiliation (to GSNZ).
Other costs: holiday training, competition entry fees, uniforms, badges.

Affiliation & Class Fees:

Nearly all of our classes operate on a term by term basis. Fees are due at the beginning of each term. Invoices are not given to Gym for All classes unless requested. Affiliation fees relate to the type of gymsport you are involved in. These are set by and passed on to GymSports NZ and enable us to run national licensed programmes. Class fees relate to the number of weekly training hours. Competitive gymnasts will be invoiced. A copy of our payment policy and price list can be found on the wall next to reception. Special training during school holidays or on a public holiday will incur an additional cost.

What do I do when I arrive for class?

When arriving please go to the lobby to sign in for your class. Proceed upstairs to the mezzanine floor and wait for your instructor to call you down for class, via the stairs at the far end of the mezzanine. Only class participants are allowed access to the gym floor. At the bottom of the stairs remove your shoes and place any bags, drink bottles in one of the storage lockers. When you have finished your class, exit the same way that you entered.
