As the juvenile problems of pregnancy, alcoholism, drug use and child abductions continue to proliferate nationwide, The National Child Safety Foundation has determined that there is a direct correlation between societal ills involving juveniles and the amount of available activities and infrastructure available to the children.
Mission Statement:
The primary mission of The National Child Safety Foundation is to assist communities in identifying, funding and establishing needed children's infrastructure in their area. The infrastructure must meet several requirements including that it is entertaining, yet educational in nature.
The second mission of The National Child Safety Foundation is to provide seminars nationwide on subjects that affect children and young adults the most. Seminar topics include Identity theft, drug and alcohol use prevention, and child abduction prevention.
Present Day Activities:
The National Child Safety Foundation provides seminars for children and parents on topics that most affect children and young adults. The seminar topics include identification theft prevention, drug and alcohol prevention, and child abduction prevention.
Identified public projects sponsored to date have included skateboard parks, playgrounds, children's computer centers, and a children's museum.
