The Multiple Birth Association offers invaluable help, advice and support to parents of twins or more. They also offer assistance, clothing and equipment exchange.
The incidence of multiple births is on the irse. In the 1997 over 800 sets of twins alone were born, compared with 500 in 1980, and the average for the period 1990-1997 was 734 sets of twins, 15 sets of triplets and at least one set of quads per annum. The challenge for clubs affiliated to the NZMBA is how to meet the increasing needs of these unique families, while the challenge fro fledging groups is to build themselves into a cohesive club whereby some structure will attract support from members and the public,
Activites:

It is Important that all parent are made to feel welcome at meetings , coffee morning etc.new mothers should be introduces , and often name tags dispel any embarrassment of forgotten names. Every member of your club is part of your public relations team.
