Hands on experience for everyone - try your hand at shearing and drafting sheep, bottle feeding lambs and learn first hand about New Zealand's sheep farming and wool industry. You can safely touch, feed and learn about the animals, explore the eco-discovery trail, adventure terrain and pond life encounter, plus see the world famous sheep and dog shows.
There is also great selection of gifts and momentoes in the Ecowool shop and Craft store then sit back, relax and enjoy great coffee and food in the Black Sheep Café. Groups are very welcome.
Our on-site café serves a tempting array of meals, snacks and drinks including top quality coffees. Stay cosy inside or enjoy the sunshine outside on the deck or in the garden. Our outside tables overlook our children's playground. Relax over a drink while the kids let off some steam!
Shopping is an experience to be savoured at our SheepWorld EcoWool Store®. Our stock ranges from luxury sheepskin rugs, premium quality merino wool, possum fur and sheepskin clothing and footwear, plus quality NZ made products and produce.
Our Farm and Nature Park covers 30 acres of beautiful New Zealand countyside and provides the perfect setting to experience nature first hand.Wander through our eco-discovery trail, meet the inhabitants of our nature pond, feed and learn about the animals in our NZ farmyard, explore the adventure terrain.
Hours: 9am to 5pm daily, Shows at 11am and 2pm daily
