Child and parent friendly topshop, with a play area to keep the kids entertained whilst you shop in peace and plenty of toys on display that the children are welcome to touch.

We also have a craft area at the back of the shop, with tables and chairs, so that parents can bring their children and do craft with them, giving the parents a breather as well as having quality time with their children.

Relax and enjoy your child being creative. There is a toilet and baby changing area and near the play area are seats for breastfeeding mums (great if you have an active toddler as well as a hungry baby)!

The plaster painting is on a drop-in basis (no bookings required). Please note that parents of children must remain in store whilst their child is in the play or craft area.

Playdays is owned and run by Debbie Frostick and Trish Walker. We both have young children and have backgrounds in business and teaching.

We found it difficult to find the kind of toys and activities that we wanted for our own primary school age children in the area, which led us to open our own shop.

Sunday: 10.00am - 3.00pm.
