Nostalgia Antiques was established in 1993 by David and Janet Burton, we operated from our retail premises on the Main North Road until mid 2008 . We specialise in original New Zealand Colonial Furniture made by the early craftsmen from the late19th century onwards who settled and trained here using the native timbers Kauri and Rimu, plus imported English Oak, wonderful pieces of furniture from the Victorian, Edwardian, Arts 'n' Crafts and Art Nouveau periods through to late 1920's. David having 'rescued' these pieces restores back to their former glory.
Our range of sideboards, display cabinets, dining tables and chairs, lounge suites, bedroom pieces, occasional pieces, pictures, clocks, old tools, brassware and other collectables is slightly reduced now being unable to carry too much large stock, however, if you are looking for particular piece of furniture please contact us incase we can advise if anything is available with us or David knows of elsewhere.
