Delivering your baby news! The Stork site is a stylish way to announce your baby's arrival to family and friends in New Zealand and around the world. Birth announcements are free and provide a unique Web page for your new arrival.
The inspiration for Stork came about before the birth of our first child. We noticed more and more people using email, rather than traditional methods such as newspapers, to announce their new baby. The trouble was, we often ended up with huge photo attachments which were difficult to view properly in email. Plus, we felt that the arrival of a new baby warranted something a bit special!
From there the ideas for the site grew to encompass the whole 'new baby' experience, from announcing the birth and receiving gifts, to the sending of thank you cards.
Unlike many baby stores, we specialise in gifts for babies aged 0-2 years. We don't tend to stock items such as nursery furniture, because we find that parents normally prefer to make those purchasing decisions themselves.
Our aim is for Stork to be a fun place to shop and to celebrate the arrival of new babies.
