The Global Education Centre (GEC) provides a range of services to teachers, teacher trainees, youth workers, community educators, community groups and young people in Aotearoa New Zealand. GEC is part of the Development Resource Centre, along with sister programme, Dev-Zone, provides information services to NGOs, development decision-makers, tertiary institutions and the general public.

Development Resource Centre

The Development Resource Centre is a not-for-profit, non-government charitable trust, governed by a voluntary board of trustees. The Development Resource Centre is core-funded by NZAID Nga Tuputupu-mai-tawhiti, a semi-autonomous body of the New Zealand Government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The Development Resource Center is a founding member of the Centre for Global Action.

Global Education Center

The Global Education Centre focuses on delivering quality services around Global Education to the formal and non-formal education sectors. The Global Education Center has two teams:

Schools, which focuses on the formal education sector.

Community, which focuses on non-formal education settings.
