Central Otago REAP (Rural Education Activities Programme) is a Ministry of Education and Tertiary Education Commission funded organization that facilitates educational opportunities in the Central Otago region. REAP operates across the entire community spectrum from early childhood through primary and secondary schooling, to continuing education for the adult community. It is a NOT FOR PROFIT organization, which is contracted by the Ministry of Education and Tertiary Education Commission to meet a variety of performance outcomes. Additional funding is created by individual contracts in specialist areas.
Facilities:
Central Otago REAP is situated at 17A Brandon Street in Alexandra and has a range of facilities and equipment available for hire.
Two modern resource rooms are available. Each room can be equipped with television, video, OHP and data projector.
Our computer suite is available for hire to community or business groups.
Fundview, a Computer Programme outlining all the sources of funding for groups or individuals within New Zealand, is available at the REAP centre.
