Recommended to Kids New Zealand by a number of parents, CEO is a relaxing café, with child-friendly, tolerant staff. You’ll find gourmet sandwiches, mini bagels, pizzas and savouries, as well as wheat and gluten- free options for kids with allergies. There’s a toy box, highchair, but unfortunately no baby changing facility.

Bronco’s Steak House
At Bronco’s Steak House kids have a wide choice of main meals and desserts for $8. There’s burgers, fish and chips, hot dogs, mini roast pork, pizza, chicken nuggets and potato wedges. Desserts include ice cream sundae, jelly and ice-cream, banana split and - wait for it - pavlova! Kids will have a tough time selecting from the cocktail menu – there’s chocolate mud, traffic light, pink panther, blue devil and vampires thirst to choose from. All for $2.50 each. Highchairs are provided along with free give-aways for the kids.

Butterfly Creek south
Papillon Bar and Café at Butterfly Creek offers a good menu selection in beautiful surroundings at affordable prices. Kids will be entertained by lots of attractions (at a small additional charge) including Buttermilk Farm, and a train trip (The Red Admiral Express). There is no charge for use of the popular Curlys Playground and Cafe. This is a great place to relax with the kids in tow. A tropical Butterfly House opens later this year. The menu selection caters for all appetites, with kids menus and yummy food for the grown-ups!
