Child Friendly Cafes

BB’s Coffee and Bake at Glenfield

Children and adults will be kept happy at this cafe chain! There’s a choice of orange juice, milkshakes, small hot chocolates, fluffies, Barbie or Bob the Builder fruit drinks with mini muffins for $2. The grown-ups coffee is pretty good as well! Highchairs provided.

We have a delicious range of products that are prepared and made fresh within our stores, including flavour-filled muffins, scones, cakes and array of gourmet breads including wraps, foccacias and turkish melts.

Killarney Street Brasserie

This restaurant offers a great kids menu. Main meals cost between $5 and $7 for dishes such as chicken nuggets with fries and salad, battered fish and chips with salad, beef and cheeseburger with mayo and fries, baby baked potatoes with onion, bacon, sour cream and salad, and a bacon penne pasta. For dessert kids can choose from a banana split or an ice cream sundae. Kids will love the interesting drinks which include fresh juices, smoothies, spiders, iced chocolate and pink panthers.

One Red Dog

This is a great place for adults and kids! Adults enjoy the gourmet pizza while the kids love the dogs on a spit (hot dog and chips), shark bits (fish and chips), chicken bites and kids pizzas. Main meals for children cost around $6.50 each. For dessert, children can fill up on yummy banana splits or ice-cream and jelly. Drinks include fluffies, smoothies, juices and soft drinks. Crayons, colouring sheets and highchairs are provided.

Pumpkin Patch – Fargo Café

Now you can combine a visit to Pumpkin Patch with a bite to eat or a delicious organic coffee. The Takapuna store has a café, right in the heart of the shop. There’s seating inside for 30 adults with a playpen, TV and video for the kids. New expansions and alterations to the venue and food are on the way with their enthusiastic new owners, to cater for corporate and child friendly clientele. The café is ideal for pregnant or breast-feeding mums with lots of yummy food to choose from at very reasonable prices. Kids have the choice of jellies, biscuit cakes and yoghurts for no more than $2.

Devonport Stone Oven Bakery and Cafe

Kids are welcome any time at this great bakery/cafe. There are half-sized breakfasts available as well as special kids biscuits - treats such as gingerbread men and smiley faces. The cafe also offers fluffies, smoothies and a full range of soft drinks.

There is a very popular separate children's play area at the back of the cafe. If the kids are really lucky then there are free lollies! Highchairs and a baby changing table are provided.

We have our own Bakery and all products in our shop are produced in our Bakery. This makes us different to all other cafes.

Manuka Restaurant

Manuka Restaurant is wood fired pizza bar is a great place to take the kids.

PIZZA

Pizza Bread Parmesan or garlic with a trio of dips.

Margheritta Mozzarella, garlic and fresh tomato's with fresh basil.

Calzone (closed pizza) Mozzarella, onion, spinach, artichoke, capsicum, mushroom & Kalamata olives.

El Salvador Garlic & soy marinated chicken, crispy bacon, caramelised onions with sweet chilli and Guacamole sauce.

Manuka Salmon, marinated in herbs and spices, home-smoked and served with capers, cream cheese and dill

Altura Coffee

Altura coffee is fresh roasted daily at our Albany premises, in North Shore City, Auckland. Small controlled batches are carefully prepared and blended. (One of the companys' bean roasting machines can be viewed inside Cafe Altura, adjacent to our new purpose-built factory and distribution centre.

Palmers Garden Centre Cafe

It's amazing how well garden centres are catering for kids these days! Palmers have a nice selection of kids snacks and drinks and a highchair and toy box to keep them amused. The staff are warm and friendly and you don't feel uncomfortable even with the gardening enthusiasts sharing the cafe. They sometimes have children's story times, particularly during the school holidays.

Venus

This buzzing café/restaurant has an excellent kids menu and is a great place for weekend brunch or an early supper. Two large boxes of toys keep the kids amused. The staff are really friendly and don’t seem to mind dodging the Lego and building blocks whilst serving your meals! Definitely kids friendly.

Café Vue

If you’re in Remuera Village and fancy a coffee or bite to eat, take the kids to Café Vue in Airlie Court (behind Trumps and Life Pharmacy). There’s a small enclosed play area along with a toy box and books – perfect for toddlers and young children. They have a kiddies plate – complete with sandwiches, hundreds and thousands, raisins and lollipops and a kids menu includes kumara chips, potato chips and vegies as well as a mixed platter. They do a choice of drinks from fluffys, milkshakes and smoothies. And in the summer ice-cream and delicious fresh fruit is available.
