Papakura Recreation and Fitness Centre - OSCAR After School Programme

Papakura Recreation and Fitness Centre can also take care of your children after school through to 6pm. Their after school programme includes picking your child up from school, providing them with afternoon tea and helping with their homework.

Children can then choose from a variety of fun activities before you collect them. You can book from anywhere between one to five days per week – with discounts given for booking and paying for the entire term.

Your child is in the hands of trained staff. This program is OSCAR accredited.

Lagoon Leisure and Fitness can take care of your children after school through to 6pm. Their after school programme includes picking your child up from school, providing them with afternoon tea and helping with their homework.

Your child is in the hands of trained staff, with all after school care programmes OSCAR accredited. Prices range from $8 per day.

St Heliers Church and Community Centre After School Care

The St Heliers Church and Community Centre offers an after school care programme from 3pm-5.45pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms.

OSCAR After School Care:

Quality after school care - Angels (5-9 years) and Upgrades (9+) includes afternoon tea, supervised homework, directed play in a purpose built facility with safe indoor and outdoor activities. Low child to staff ratio with staff trained in behaviour management and first aid. A member of OSCN (National Out of School Care Network) & approved by CYFS.

Parnell Community Trust After School Care

The Parnell Community Trust offers an after school care programme from 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms. Children are collected from their school in a taxi bus.

Catering for children aged between 5 and 14 years, Parnell Trust's programmes are safe, stimulating and fun and meet the safety standards and agreed codes of behaviour as awarded by the Department of Child, Youth and Family Services.

Mt Albert Community Centre of Child Care

The Mt Albert Community Centre offers an after school care programme from 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms. Children are collected from the Marist school in a taxi bus.

Meadowbank Community Centre After School Care

The Meadowbank Community Centre offers an after school care programme from 3pm-5.45pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms. Children are collected from their school in a taxi bus.

We provide early childhood education for 2-5 year olds in a caring and supportive environment. We are licensed for 18 children and have a ratio of 1 staff per 6 children. We operate between 8:30am and 3:00pm during the primary school term. Half days and full days available. We offer a lunch time pick up from Meadowbank Kindy so that children may attend the pre-school in the afternoon.

Highbury House Community Centre After School Care

The Highbury House Community Centre operates an after school care programme from 2.30pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms.

HISTORY:

Highbury After-School Care began in July 1990. Based at St Aidans Church community rooms, primary-ages children are offered an after-school program at the end of the school day.

PROGRAMME PHILOSOPHY:

The program aims to provide a safe, stimulating and enjoyable program which caters for the children’s different ages, sex and cultural backgrounds while attempting to encompass individual needs and interests.
