Yummy Jelly Boats (Recipe by Annabel Karmel)
These jelly boats are the most popular party food that I make. I usually make them using packets of fruit jelly, but you can also make them using fruit juices. Try blackcurrant, apple, grape or fresh orange juice sweetened with a little sugar. Another idea is to make lime, peach and strawberry jelly in tall glasses and set them one after the other in three layers. You end up with traffic light jelly.
Ingredients:
- 2 large oranges
- 1 x 11.7g (approx 1 tablespoon) sachet gelatine
- 500ml fruit juice
- 1 sheet of rice paper
Peach and Apricot Cottage Cheesecake (Recipe by Annabel Karmel)
This cake is simple to make, uses no cream, requires no baking and looks very impressive (what more could you want!). A lovely cake to make for a special tea party. It also freezes very well so that you can make it in advance.
Ingredients:
- 1 x 800g tin apricots
- 2 x 135g packets peach jelly
- 750g cottage cheese
- 300ml fromage frais
- 275g ginger biscuits
- 75g butter or margarine, melted
- 1 x 400g tin apricots
- 3 tablespoons apricot jam, sieved
Patchwork Quilt (Recipe by Annabel Karmel)
This is an attractive way of displaying miniature sandwiches – choose toppings of contrasting colours. There are lots of different foods you can use for decoration. This looks great for a special tea party and children will be able to choose their favourite sandwich from the patchwork quilt – ask them if they know what each sandwich is made from! Alternatively, you can make a patchwork quilt on one slice of bread. Cut contrasting coloured cheese slices into squires. Arrange like a chessboard on top of the bread and decorate.

Open Chip Burger (Recipe by Aria Farm)
This is a really easy dish to prepare - and kids always like a burger as a special treat!
Cook the Aria Farm chips as per the instructions on the bag. Slice the burger bun and place lettuce, tomato, sprouts on the bun with the cooked chips.
And that's it!
