New Zealand Surf Tours

New Zealand Surf Tours (NZST) was established as New Zealand's first surf tour company of its kind. NZST identified a need in the market for beginners wanting to learn to surf and for international visitors wanting to experience New Zealand waves. NZST evolved over the years originally offering a One Day Surf Tour and Surf School. The company now offers 5 & 12 Day Surf Tours, Heli Surfing and Custom Tours. We cater for beginner, intermediate and experienced surfers that are searching for a real kiwi surf experience.

The Kitchen Garden

Rachel Knight operates the kitchen garden from her home in Ohariu Valley, 25 minutes from Wellington. She runs ‘fresh food garden’, a half-day organic vegetable gardening course for beginners. Rachel grows organic produce, which she sells via a box-scheme during summer. She also keeps Rhode Island red chickens, honey bees, white fan-tailed pigeons and Dexter cows. Rachel has a certificate in certified organic production from Christchurch Polytechnic and completed a permaculture design course in 2004. She also has an honours degree in electrical engineering.

Wesley Community Centre

The Wesley Community Centre offers a School Holiday Programme each school holiday period. The programme is for children aged 5 to 12 years and runs from Monday to Friday. The programme consists of centre based activities including art, crafts and sports combined with at least two day trips per week to destinations like Auckland Zoo, movies, beach or pool, ice skating, and Sheepworld.
