Mitchell Park is a tennis and squash facility in the middle of the picturesque rose gardens on Mitchell Street, Lower Hutt, New Zealand. It is owned by Hutt Valley Tennis Inc which is all the Lower Hutt Tennis Clubs. A squash facility was added in the early sixties and runs as a separate identity within the auspices of Hutt Valley Tennis.

Jordan Recreation and Fitness Centre’s multi purpose sports stadium is host to a range of children’s programmes, including Movin’ and Groovin’, Kids Club, Mini Soccer, Racquets Club, Tramps and Hip Hop.
Junior Basketball - There are three sessions for different age groups on Saturday morning: 8-9yrs, 9-10am; 10-11yrs, 10-11am; 12-13yrs, 11am-12noon.
Movin’ and Groovin’ – Designed for preschool children, this class will improve their confidence, motor co-ordination and balance. The class is held on Monday at 9.30am.
Franklin’s multi purpose sports stadium is host to a range of children’s programmes, including Mini Movement, Get Active Kidz, and Mini Basketball.
Mini Movement – For children aged 2-4yrs, this class helps children develop their motor, confidence and socialisation skills. The class is held on Tuesday morning and costs $40 per term.
The Centre runs a variety of youth sports leagues including miniball, unihockey, netball and indoor soccer. These fun leagues are played after school and are a great way to get your intermediate-aged children involved in sport. They also run preschool gymnastics for younger children, which is a fun way to promote the development of physical, cognitive, creative and social skills.
CLUB FACILITIES:
The Leisure Centre is home to the North Shore’s only Rock Wall. Equipment can be hired and free instruction is provided for beginners. Next door to the Centre is a skateboard park and playing fields.

Action Indoor Sports Stadiums are the most modern and professionally run indoor sports facilities in New Zealand. They have a fantastic after school and weekend junior programme covering indoor cricket, netball and soccer for children aged 7-18yrs.
